This course prepares facilitators to deliver our Listen to Understand workshop, which also requires purchasing a Listen to Understand Workshop Participant Kit for each participant. Each participant kit includes a single-use user license, and purchase is required for each participant every time the content is delivered.
About the Listen to Understand Workshop
The ability to listen — to really understand what someone else is trying to communicate — fundamentally affects a person’s ability to communicate with others. However, as important as it is, many people think they’re already good listeners or may not know specifically what to do to become better listeners.
This listening workshop teaches the skills and behaviors of listening to understand, which extend beyond gathering information and hearing accurately to include building relationships, showing respect, empathizing, and connecting with others. Learning these skills creates a positive impact on leaders’ communication and in their relationships beyond work.
